Blacklisting
Hill Robinson does not implement any measures that hinder or restrict qualified seafarers from obtaining employment.
Fees
We do not charge any seafarer’s any fees either directly or indirectly, in whole or in part for the recruitment and placement of seafarers. Nor are there any hidden costs.
Complaints
If you have a complaint or grievance regarding the conduct of Hill Robinson Recruitment’s services. Please see below our procedure:
Complaints should generally be submitted within 14 days of the incident or from the date the matter comes to the attention of the client or seafarer. This period may be extended if there are valid reasons for the delay. The company aims to respond to complaints within an additional 14 days.
Clients and seafarers can file complaints verbally, in writing, or via email to the Head of Recruitment at recruitment@hillrobinson.com.
If a complaint is made verbally, it will be documented, and a written copy will be provided to the client or seafarer. If however, you feel that the complaint has not been addressed in a manner that is satisfactory and in keeping with the standards that we aim to maintain.
For specific seafaring/MLC2006 related service complaints:
If it is believed that a complaint has not been addressed correctly or has been left unresolved, you should contact the MLC Department at The Maritime Coastguard Agency using the details below. Included in this action should be full details of previous correspondence.
